Art and Family (8/1-6/2018)

A trip to Rhode Island turned into a trip first to Maryland to see Erich, Dylan & Pete, and have some passport photos taken. Played a rousing game of Monopoly and had a fantastic dinner at Founding Farmers.

The main event was The Inside Out, a gallery show by Katrina E. We were there for the opening reception! (Artificial light and glare do not make for great photos! You must see it in person!) Katrina was set up in the Reading Room at the AS220 Project Space.

Finally a drive to see Ryan, Maddy and Fiona.
Fiona showed us the cow at Bellvale Farms Creamery,
where we had yummy ice cream! (KSS)
Apparently most of the land we see from the top of Bearfort Mountain
belongs to Bellvale Farms that sold its development rights to the
Town of Warwick NY's farmland preservation program; they
also incorporate sustainability practices
The creamery is easily accessible to the Appalachian Trail and provides water and electronics-charging for hikers.

Fiona stands in line to pay for our breakfast
at Greenwood Lake Bagels; thanks, Fiona! (KSS)
We were not very helpful in clearing out items belonging to our side of the family. Hopefully by the end of the month things will have been distributed to the cousins!
