Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens (6/7/2015)

Sunday, June 7, 2015
Usually when we "visit" my mother, we don't spend any time with her. This time we took her to the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens.
Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens
South Park in Buffalo was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and built 1894-1900 to include a conservatory and formal gardens. The conservatory was designed by William A Burnham, inspired by the Crystal Palace in Kew Gardens in London. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
