We were planning on taking the Shaker Heights Garden Tour, but upon arrival at the Shaker Heights Historical Society Museum, we learned there was a typo somewhere, and the garden tour is always on Father's Day weekend.
Instead we checked out the "public" art in Shaker Heights.
On South Park Boulevard, ART (2001 on original of 1972), by Robert Indiana, known for the iconic LOVE print and sculpture, as well as a stamp |
Also on South Park Boulevard, and perhaps not so public! the back of St Ignatius of Loyola by Norbert Koehn |
On Parkland Drive there are multiple pieces done by Arnold Reisman who lived there |
On Chadbourne Road, Invasive Species (2011) by Ian Petroni, created from discarded vinyl siding |
On Lytle Road, a metal garden arbor (2005) by Marte Cellura (7/14/2015) |
Arbor detail (7/14/2015) |
