We had a long drive today, from Santa Rosa Beach to Winter Springs, then on to Sarasota, FL.

Mike and Donna moved this summer to a 55+ community called Village Plaza in Sarasota, to be closer to Dan and Maggie, and little Alex when they move down in the new year.

Hurricane Irma knocked down the large tree on the left, and it fell across the enclosed-lanai roof spreading to the rise of the tiled roofs on both sides |
Fortunately, there was no structural damage to the inside of the house. Roof tiles were replaced, and the air conditioning compressor on the roof was replaced when we were there.
