We are retired, so we do not have to travel only on long weekends!
Drove down to Columbus, OH, ending up at the Columbus Museum of Art.
(We were in Columbus to see Roadside America attractions in 2015.)

After lunch in the Museum Schokko CafĂ©, we walked over to Topiary Park (1989-1992), in the Old Deaf School Park, where the scene depicted in Georges Seurat’s famous painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte (1884-1886), was created by James T Mason.

Next we walked to the Thurber House, where writer and humorist, James Thurber, lived with his parents and two brothers. This was during the years he attended Ohio State University in 1913-1917.
