Not an urn, but a former drinking fountain |
Now we drove to South Barre, for another long overdue visit (20+ years?) to Aunt Lynn and Uncle Kit G.
We had previously visited this house in 1989, when Brynne was 4-months old! |
Changes have been made since that visit |
Cool deck space |
Uncle Kit is trying the technique of removing the lower leaves on a tomato plant to increase air flow and light, and to reduce disease and insect infestation |
Once again, we cannot thank Aunt Lynn and Uncle Kit enough for their wonderful hospitality! We had a place to stay overnight, had snacks and drinks, then a yummy dinner of lasagne (with no-boil lasagne noodles!) and a salad. We enjoyed a new dessert for us: maple syrup over plain yogurt! For breakfast we had breakfast quesadillas and buttered English muffins with jam or peaut butter.
At last, we remembered to take photos!
Cousin Kerry (not seen since he was nearly 2-years old!), Aunt Lynn, and Uncle Kit |
We are very grateful to Kerry for making the trip (55 miles one- way) to join us for dinner!
