Kažimir Hraste); the hand position with thumb between
the index and middle fingers, known as the "figa" sign,
represents stubbornness and resilience
Judith - The Siege of Bethulia (2024,
by Luka Duplančić and Ivan Svaguša) is
based on an etching by Matko Trebotić
inspired by a Marko Marulić poem (1501)
Croatian National Theater (1893, by Emilio Vecchietti and
Ante Bezić in Renaissance style)

St Anthony the Hermit with a tiny man to
his left representing the donor, Ciprianis
