Bayleigh Chase Acts CCRC (2/12/2024)

Monday, February 12, 2024 (continued)
Our first overnight stay on this trip was at Bayleigh Chase, on 35 acres in Easton, MD. It is one of the smaller Acts retirement communities with approximately 46 independent living apartments, and nearly 57 cottages and villas. OakBridge Terrace, the assisted living facility was in a separate building, with 88 units. WillowBrooke Court, the skilled nursing facility has 57 rooms/about 99 beds.

The nearest hospital is the University of MD Shore Medical Center at Easton, which is 0.8 miles/5 minutes away. Bayleigh Chase is 79 miles/1.5 hours from Dylan & Pete, and 58 miles/75 minutes from BWI/Baltimore/Washington International Airport. Being in the Eastern Shore of Maryland, one has to cross the Bay Bridge over the Chesapeake Bay, which often has delays.
