Tonight we stayed at another Acts community, Tryon Estates in Columbus, NC. It is located on 412 acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, and is gated. There are 267 independent living units, 10 carriage homes, 44 assisted living units, and 52 skilled nursing beds.

The closest hospital, St Luke's Hospital, is 3.3 miles/10 minutes away. Tryon Estates is 39.6 miles/45 min from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
Although you feel like you are in the mountains, you can hear trucks using engine braking all night.
