Much research went into where we should go, followed by a severe trimming of the list, before submission to Discover Africa to plan a trip of a lifetime. It would have been a nightmare to organize, since we decided we should leave in two months. Leaving it to the professionals (Vihann Van Wyck), we had a seamless month-long trip.

We had a 2.5-hour from Philadelphia to Atlanta, then a 15.5-hour flight from Atlanta to Johannesburg.

We left our apartment at 13:30 yesterday, and landed in Johannesburg at 18:30 today. We were met at the airport, and transferred to the Peech Hotel in the dark.
