This morning our luggage had to be out by 8:45 to be loaded on the buses. We left at 9:00 to stop at the post office.
The Bhutan post office is unique in that they will use your photo and create stamps for you |
We were not prepared with a photo, so had one taken outside the post office; for about $4.50, we received a dozen stamps, but used only one |
This was the letter box where we deposited our single postcard |
| Next we stopped at the biggest farmers' market in Bhutan |

It was a little disappointing to see prepacked produce in plastic bags; the rings on the right are from bitter melon |

| Ginger and garlic, cucumbers |
| Soft-bite yak cheese |
| Dried crocker fish |

Spices, but why was she mixing them in the green bag? |
