We continued onward to Cheyenne, the capital of Wyoming, first stopping at the
Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, yet another already-free reciprocal garden with our Tyler Arboretum membership.

At the Wyoming State Capitol, we searched the entire grounds looking for statues of Chief Washakie and Esther Hobart Morris (the nation's first woman justice of the peace), wondering why their memorials would have been removed. Turns out they were brought inside the Capitol building in 2018 to preserve them from weather and vandals.
