California Route 66 Museum (1995) is located in the former
Red Rooster Café (1940s) (a Roadside America attraction)
As you can see, you cannot enter the parking lot from the street, and the back alley was blocked.

Museum at the site of the Original McDonald's founded by
Maurice and Richard McDonald in 1948, after realizing
that their popular teen hangout McDonald's BBQ (1940)
was selling mostly hamburgers and fries, so they rebooted

This unofficial McDonald's museum (1998) was started by
Albert Okura (who bought the town of Amboy, CA),
and is located in San Bernardino, CA
Almost all the items in the museum, like these Happy Meal
toys, have been donated from fans all around the world (KSS)

and the name and country of the donor are given (KSS)

It was this evening that we had a very last-minute dinner date with Ellen and Jeff B, fellow Chofu High School alumni along with Kent. We appreciate that they were able to come to us for dinner, which we had already planned at California Pizza. Thank you!
